In a world of Greek mythology, join forces with your fellow players to fight Chaos! Will you hold the cards to make it right?
Developed with the help of the Games for Entertainment and Learning (GEL) Lab at Michigan State University, Roots of Power teaches Greek and Latin word roots. With a combination of chance-based, skill-based, and collaborative play, even the most beginning player has an even shot of winning. The game has been playtested many times and went through 10 iterations to perfect the playing mechanics.
Roots of Power won a Silver award at the 2019 Serious Play Conference in Orlando, Florida.
