"Critical Hits" is a 5e-Compatible supplement that takes Critical Hits in your RPG game to the next level.

A critical hit is a dramatic high point during combat. Cheers erupt from the table. Players visually get excited. An exceptional chance for drama that results in a few extra damage dice being rolled. And that's cool, but it could be wild. Know exactly what happens. See your enemy suffer the consequences. Explain the pain. This is how combat evolves into an epic tale!

The Critical Hits deck consists of 50 beautifully illustrated cards. That not only explain exactly what happens but also the effects that follow.

Fair warning: These cards only visualize bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage inflicted on a humanoid creature. You as the DM you might need to improvise when dealing with more exotic damage types and creatures. Luckily improvisation is the DM's main skill.
