Description
Introducing the chess variants "Save the Queen" and "The King Returns", two alternate chess games in one.
In "Save the Queen" players have each captured the enemy's Queen. In this game the chess pieces have completely different moves. Your goal is to rescue your own Queen to win the game. "Save the Queen" also features a deck of cards designed to alter how these pieces move or attack.
"The King Returns" is a capture the flag type game for 2 to 4 players. In this game you will use only pawns and a King. With a simple movement mechanic players must move one pawn to an opponent's flag point, where the pawn is promoted to a King. The King must return to your own flag point to win the game.
This game can be played using chess pieces, rocks or anything you have on hand.
