Defend your WW2 airfield, scramble fighters and send aircraft on missions.

Collect and play Action and Mission cards featuring colourful WW2 themed aircraft.
Roll the dice to establish the outcomes of dogfights, bombing missions and defense against air attacks.

The game can be played solo or against an opponent. In the box are components for one or two players including: 54 Action cards and 18 Mission cards, all featuring WW2 themed artwork and designs, and two different airbase Map Sheets for recording base damage and repairs.

The scenario: you manage a grass field WW2 era air base featuring an airstrip, aircraft squadrons, various buildings and base defenses. You will endure damage from air attacks and sabotage, and have to repair and maintain. All the time while flying Fighter and Bomber missions deep into enemy territory.

Game play: Rounds are divided into stages that involve base repairs, collecting game cards, mission scenarios and point scoring. Most outcomes are decided with dice rolls and Victory Points are earned or lost depending on those outcomes. Solo or head-to-head players win or lose based on a maximum and minimum number of Victory Points.

Game components: The game comes with:
-54 Action cards feature original artwork and descriptive instructions for various types of events, repairs, scenarios and missions that can earn or lose Victory Points.
-Six and twenty sided dice control most outcomes as directed by the Action and Mission cards.
-18 additional Mission cards feature WW2 themed aircraft and optional missions that can earn (or cost) a player big Victory Points!
-Two fold-out Air Base map sheets -a visual reference for each player and a place to keep track of base damage from air attacks. The map sheets also include quick reference scoring charts and a place to record your Victory points.
-30 "Fire" orange Damage Discs that can be used to show air attack damage on the map sheets.
-A large two sided Instruction booklet with rules for single and double player games.
