Shipwreck Island is a rocky jungle island that appears on no sea charts. By the time unwary sailors see it, they have crashed on its shores. Only Pirates know the location of Shipwreck Island and prey on the lonely inhabitants when they need slaves to work their ships or to sell in the slave markets.
The shipwrecked crews have joined with the natives to defend the struggling island community against the Pirate raids. A small island army has been formed but cannot protect all the cities at once. Each city needs walled defenses built around it to fend off the Pirate attacks until help can arrive.
Your crew has crashed on Shipwreck Island and because of your training and experience, you have been recruited to help build walled fortifications around the island cities.
As a reward for the protection and safety your fortifications will provide, the first crew member to accomplish the task and protect the island will be named King or Queen of Shipwreck Island!
Can you build walls around the cities while under attack or will the pirates destroy your walls before you can complete them?
In this 2-4 player game, players build Walls and trade with other players to get the Wall Segment types they need to completely fortify a city and earn Points. 100 points are required to win, but players may exceed those points to beat out other players.
Cities can be attacked by pirates, destroying the Wall Plans you have built. Each city has multiple Wall Plans and completing each plan lessens the damage from a pirate attack.
Buy Reinforcent Cards to help defend your cities until your cities are complete fortified and impervious to pirate attack.
Move the Island Army to protect your city against attacks while you fortify it.
Although there is only one winner, players work together to complete their cities.
