Description
Greetings! Kaiju Games is pleased to present Sick Day, our first game designed specifically for children and families.
Sick Day teaches children about health and healing through a simple, card-based system that is fun for both young people and adults. In Sick Day,you work either individually or as a team to help others feel better. Match your antibodies to the viruses your characters have to cure them of their ills. Using color coded icons played row by row, this fast and easy-to-learn game has been proven in testing to be fun for players of all ages and interests. Everyone gets sick, so why not help everyone feel better the fun way with Sick Day?
Please feel free to download the rules using the link at the bottom of this page. As you will see, this game has three play styles of increasing challenge that grow alongside your players' capabilities. The first (and simplest) mode of play is cooperative. It allows your entire team to get a group win by curing a single character. As players gain confidence, you can move on to playing as individuals in a race to be the first to cure your own character. Finally, the hardest challenge to any person trying to get through a Sick Day is the Infection Stage! Can you defend yourself and your character as you fight off not only your virus but also your fellow players as they attempt to infect you? Be the best to employ the powerful forces of the immune system, fight off that infection, and become the winner!
NOTE: Sick Day has been rated for ages 12+ for general play according to the standards of TGC. However, we encourage parents to use their best judgement on the skills and maturity of their younger children when playing as a family, as shown in our testimonials.
We could tell you everything we see as the designers, but why not hear directly from those who have played the game?

Finally, lets hear from the ones that are the most important... The kids.
(Slight mistake on the person asking questions... They are anti-bodies... Not anti-viruses, sorry folks.)
