Sketch Book Shuffle

Over forty artists have collaborated together to create a playable deck of cards based on unique visions and voices. As a part of an artist residency project at Half Crown Creative in Ft. Collins Colorado from November of 2023 through Feb of 2024, Shawn Bowman displayed a deck of cards on the wall that visitors to the studio could choose from to add to the project. Each artist had QR codes featured in the gallery and a QR code on this page as well as on the cards will take you to links to their individual work. Artists range in age from 9-82 and are from Ft. Collins Colorado, Oregon, California, New Mexico and Texas!!! Submitted pieces have been created in watercolor, acrylic, collage, linoleum carving, AI, digital designs, pen and ink, marker, sculpture, 3D printing and photography. It’s been absolutely amazing to see the creativity and dedication to craft that everyone submitted.

A reception for this project will be held during the month of June at Half Crown Creative in Ft. Collins to celebrate the hard work of everyone involved.
