Sleeper cells is a game where you play various cells, viruses and amoebas to do battle on a microscopic battlefield. Players take turns drawing and playing cards to lead attacks against their opponent. The game ends when a player runs out of life. Outwit your opponent in a tactical duel where playing the strongest cards at the wrong time can be just as deadly for you as for your opponent.

Sleeper Cells placed 4th overall in the Board Game Geek 2022 Two Player Print and Play Game Design Contest. Other Accolades include:
2nd Place - Best to Play With a Child
2nd Place - Best Gateway Game
The goal of the game is to reduce your opponent’s life to zero. When one player’s life total is reduced to zero or less the game ends immediately.
Each sleeper cell card has an ability. Abilities can either be one of two types:
• Flip abilities take effect immediately when flipping the card from face down to face up
• Static abilities are always active when the card is face up
Note: Some cards have secret static abilities that are active when the card is face down (eg. The Sneak). You do not need to tell your opponent about these cards until the effect becomes relevant to the game.
Step 0: Shuffle the deck of Sleeper Cell cards. Step 1: Deal five cards face down to each player for tracking life totals. These cards remain face down until they are moved to the discard pile when a player loses life. Step 2: Deal five cards to each player’s hand. Step 3: Place the deck of Sleeper Cell cards within easy reach of both players.
