Description
An Orrery is a model of our solar system. This game is about the planets and other celestial bodies that are part of our solar system. The game can be played anyone who can recognize pictures of the planets, moon and the sun.
There are 13 cards in each system: Sun, Mercury, Venus, Earth, Moon (Luna), Mars, Ceres, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto and Charon. The game is for 2 to 4 players and is similar to gin-rummy in play. You draw cards to build a hand with the goal being to collect each planet and dwarf planet and avoid having moons or suns in your hand at the end of the round. Each card has a celestial body on it with a picture from NASA, the planetary symbol and a few statistics about that celestial body.
