Build your band, perform your setlist, earn encores & favor to shred your way to victory!
A two player game - Play as a band manager, recruiting musicians and performing in a series of Battle of the Bands at a variety of venues. Each musician has their own traits, setlist and stage antics. Be the first to turn it up to 11!
Sound Check! Is a hand management game, with some (very) light deck building mechanics. At the start of each round, you will recruit an additional musician to your band. On your turn, you roll a dice to see what type of song the crowd wants to hear, and then have one of your musicians play a song or perform an antic. (Antics range from telling a thoughtful story, to jumping off the stage!) Every song, or antic influences the show through Crowd Favor, Venue Favor & Energy.
Be the first band to reach 11 in any of these areas to win the show! Successfully win three shows and claim victory as the best band manager!
