Sounds Like Chicken

Sounds Like Chicken is the crazy musical party game to complete any get-together!

In this tuneful challenge, players must guess the song while the performer uses only the sound effect on the back of the card!

Get points if your team guess the song and if they can guess the sound effect

Before you start: At Catapault Games, we love house rules! Decide if you’d like to play individually or in teams - depending on how many of you there are. It’s also up to you to to decide how many points you need to win. To speed up game play, we recommend you have a song list at the ready - this could be either a playlist on your phone or the back of a CD.

To play the game:

• Pick a song and take a card

• Attempt to perform your song using only the sound on the back of your card, e.g. moo your way through if you card says "Cow"

• The rest of your team, or the other players if playing individually, try to guess both the song and the sound effect

• You get one point if the song is guessed and one point if the sound effect is guessed

• No bonus points if both are guessed!

• Whoever gets the most points at the end of the game is the winner!

And that’s how you play! Feel free to add your own twist. Will you have a limited amount of time to sing your song? Do you have to wear a costume first? Are you not allowed to dance? Send us your best house rules and your idea could be featured in a future game!
