Spade Invaders

Welcome to the year 2048. It has been 20 years since the spades vanished. They just left one day as if by magic. Hearts, diamonds, clubs, they were still there, but the spades were gone. People made due with shovels as that seemed to scratch the itch, for a while. Where are you spades? Come back!

A fiery ball blasts down from the sky and torches downtown. You gaze skyward and see what you’ve been looking for all these long years. The spades are back! Unfortunately they look like they aren’t here for a happy reunion; they look to be here to invade.

Spade Invaders is a card game for four players where each player tries to protect their city from the Spade Invaders. Players will play cards onto tricks to determine who wins the trick, but also play cards that will determine how the players and Invaders move and attack. Be the first player to defeat the Invaders or the player with the most intact city when the Invaders conquer to win.
