SpellBooks: Spellcasting 101 Grimoire: Just the cards

SpellBooks™ is a collectable trading card game in which 2-6 players take on the personas of powerful magicians engaged in dangerous battles! Players do this by collecting cards and organizing them into pages of spells to create their own unique spellbook. The game is played in a series of rounds, with each player casting spells in order to reduce their opponents’ Health to 0. Players begin with 25 Health and the last player with Health remaining is the winner.

This Grimoire is the best place to start for a SpellBooks player who only wants the cards. The only thing included with this set is the 48 common cards found in Spellcasting 101. If you were looking for the complete starter set that includes a set of color-coded polyhedral dice, follow this link.

Players are encouraged to use this pack to gain familiarity with SpellBooks' rules and cards, then expand their spells with with rare and powerful cards found in uncoming sets and booster packs!

Each player will require their own set of cards, dice, and book to play.

A 2x2 card portfolio is required to play SpellBooks™. Portfolio is not included as The Game Crafter does not stock this component, however they are readily available online or in your local game store.
