One team STACKS while the opposing team YAKS. There are Stack cards, Yak cards, and 16 colorful game pieces.
The Stack team will look at both cards. They will tell the Yak team what the subject of the Yak will be by reading the top word on the Yak card. Then the race begins! The Stack team stacks the game pieces to match the stack card. While this is going on, the Yak team talks non-stop about the subject they were given.
When the Stack is complete, the Yak is over. Then both teams can look at the Yak card and count the number of words from the card that were used in the Yak. The Yak team will get one point for each of the words used. Then the roles are reversed.
Play continues until all players have had a turn to both Stack and Yak! The team with the most points is the winner.
