Star Riot

In the far future, thousands of years from now, humanity has taken its place among the stars and expanded into the far reaches of the Milky Way Galaxy. Noble bloodlines have descended from those who led the very first voyages into the stars. Two kingdoms reign supreme over the star systems that their ancestors charted long ago.

Star Riot is a two-player strategy card game in which players fight for control of the Solar System. They launch and upgrade countless wings of starfighters and lay waste to enemy forces. The first player to destroy their opponent's space station captures the system and wins the game.

Each copy of Star Riot includes the following playing cards:

• 2 Station Cards - Powerful installations that command wings of starships.
• 14 Ship Cards - Agile war machines that fight on the front lines and gain upgrades throughout play.
• 17 Weapon Cards - Powerful technologies used to destroy enemy forces.
• 19 Augment Cards - Advanced technologies that enhance ship abilities.
• 18 Tactic Cards - Surprise maneuvers that can turn the tide of the battle.

The game also includes:

• 1 Illustrated Rule Booklet - With detailed diagrams and full color graphics.
• 2 Twenty-Sided Dice & 14 Block Counters - For tracking ship/station hit points.
• 2 Turn Order Cards - For quick and convenient reference.
• 2 Ship Stats & 3 Discard Pile Marker Cards

Turns in Star Riot play out over the following five phases:

1. Resolve Combat: Play any tactic cards in your hand to reduce incoming combat damage.
2. Draw: Draw a single card from the weapon, augment, or tactic decks.
3. Field Ships: Play any number of ships, paying the action cost printed on each of them.
4. Upgrade Ships: Play weapon and augment cards on your ships to upgrade their abilities.
5. Attack: Fire your weapons at enemy ships or stations.

Players take turns launching starfighters and upgrading them with advanced technology. Once their ships are in play, they target enemy forces and attempt to gain a winning advantage. Players also execute surprise tactics that shake up the action. Players must leverage their fighter wing and carefully choose their targets in order to destroy the enemy space station and emerge victorious.
