Thank you for purchasing Doctor Mystical's Steampunk Divination Dice. I am thrilled to bring these wooden dice to The Game Crafter for the Third Edition. These three 6-sided oracles will provide meaning in your readings. While we encourage you to prepare and study the dice as they pertain to you or your querent, we do offer the following guidance on meanings and reading types.

About

Give yourself or a friend a three-dice reading that provides detailed guidance as a stand-alone divination tool or in combination with other divination systems like tarot cards, oracle cards, or runes. Dice can be re-rolled to provide more details about the original symbol (e.g. the first image being Gears with meaning of work, might be re-rolled to determine what needs more work.

Each set contains 3 dice with 6 symbols on each for a variety of messages.

What types of readings can you get with these dice?

Timeline Rolls

• Past, Present, Future
• Present, Challenge, Future

Situational Understanding Rolls

• What is the current situation? What obstacle are you facing? What advice do you need?
• What is the situation? What action is needed? What will the outcome be?
• Strengths, weaknesses, advice
• Opportunities, challenges, outcome

Rolls for Relationships

• You, the other person, the relationship
• What do you want from the relationship? What do they want from the relationship? Where is the relationship headed?
• What brings you two together? What pulls you two apart? What needs your attention right now?

Rolls for Making Decisions and Problem Solving

• What is the nature of the problem, What is the cause? What is the solution?
• Option 1, option 2, option 3
• What is one solution? What is an alternative solution? How should you choose?

Self-Reflection Rolls

• What will help you? What will hinder you? What is your unrealized potential?
• What represents your consciousness, subconsciousness, higher self?
• Material state / Emotional state / Spiritual state
• Stop, start, continue (thinking, doing, feeling, expecting)

Each of these rolls can be applied to variety of situations from work and money to personal feelings and love. Don’t be limited by the context or these suggestions. Working with your creativity and querent to make the question specific and clear is how a session should begin. Then roll the dice once, twice, or more as the conversation evolves.
