Stock Market Kahuna, is a board game based on 8 different stocks from 4 different sectors. Players use terms like beta, dividend, market conditions, news, and analyst rating to learn about factors affecting a stock’s price. Random factors, rolling two dice, can also change a stock’s price. Game stocks are designed to simulate real world stocks. For example, Lights Out Co, a utility, has a high dividend and low beta, so its stock price is stable. Crazy open market trading simulates the excitement of trading. Each game is different and represents the fluctuations and unpredictability of the stock market, allowing players to develop different strategies. In a bear market, the winner is often someone who keep cash, whereas in a bull market, the winner is often someone who has diversified or has a highly volatile stock that goes up. Who will get the greatest return on their investment?
