Story Builder Prototype (Fantasy)

This prototype is the third deck in a series of a storytelling system. The others are the WORLD BUILDING deck and CHARACTER BUILDING deck.

This system features six unique decks of mini cards: Theme, Act, Item, Location, Character, Plot Point. Players are each dealt a "story well" of cards for people, places, and things that they can use to collaborative create a story using the characters and setting generated with the WORLD BUILDING and CHARACTER BUILDING decks. Play proceeds over five Acts, beginning with the inciting incident, continuing through rising action until the climax and endings. This is a collaborative and cooperative game with the end goal of telling a well-structured stories featuring well-rounded characters in a detailed setting.

This prototype was developed for an epic/high fantasy setting. It features races of elves, dwarves, orcs, and humans and includes swords, spells, and monsters tailored to this genre.
