Description

A hundred and eight character portraits to help illustrate your story game's denizens. Whether putting a face to the character you just created or providing a springboard for inspiration, a pile of character illustrations is a good tool to have in the toolbox.

This deck was built from illustrations drawn by Jeff Preston for a Kickstarter project intended to create character illustrations for Creative Commons release, usable in anyone's roleplaying game project. Inspired by the library of names in the Story Games Names Project, I wanted to have these portraits in a convenient form to quickly illustrate my character in one-shot games.

The images used on these cards are available under a CC Attribution license, so you can use the images that appear in this deck for you own projects, or even create your own set of cards and eliminate me from the middle. (See the deck's website link above for more info and downloads.) I set up this storefront so I could get the images in a convenient card-printed form for myself, but it would please me if others found the bit of work I put into this useful and got a deck too.

I love Preston's (oddly-named) "Terrible Character Portraits" series. Using them for an accessory like this one is a great idea. I could see a couple of ways to improve it, mainly just because 108 car...
