Strife

Each player has a hand of cards, but unlike your standard deck, there are eight suits... and they all have different numbers of cards! Each round, every player will play one card, and at the end of the round, the “best” card wins the trick.

However, the goal of the game is to have the fewest points, so as your hand size dwindles, you must avoid playing the best card to win - or find a way to force your opponents to play better ones!

When it's your turn to play a card, if you have any suit that's already been played for the trick, you must play it. Once everyone has played a card, the suit with the most cards on the table is the trump suit. Duck under high cards, play rarer or already depleted suits, or use special Face Cards to keep your card from winning the trick.
