The Sumerian Oracle deck is a card divination system (Cartomancy) with some similarities to Tarot. It is based on the Sumerian / Mesopotamian gods and spirits and the culture surrounding them. The art is inspired by ancient texts, cylinder seals, ancient stele, and other ancient art with as much ancient iconography and symbolism as possible.
This deck contains 49 Sumerian deity cards, 35 lower order cards, 5 layout instruction cards, and 1 general information card. There are 3 reccomended layouts. Each card has the associations on the back. No memorization of complex associations is required.
This is the two sided version with instruction cards rather than a booklet. Only the minimum pakaging is included for environment conscious buyers.
