Tales and Trials

A survival party game filled with competitive storytelling and unique challenges. Tales and Trials has two types of players - adventurers and event master. Players will take turns playing as the event master while the rest remain adventurers. The adventurers will draw item cards and describe how they will use their items in the scenario that is drawn. The event master will decide who would complete the scenario in the best way and grant them victory for the round.

What does a turn look like? The event master will begin by drawing a curse card, which provides a unique twist on the game round. The adventurers will then draw their three item cards and will begin drafting amongst themselves (holding onto one card and passing the rest to their left). Once the drafting has completed, the event master will read aloud a scenario card. Once read, each adventurer will tell a story of how they would use their items to complete the scenario. Finally, after each adventurer has gone, the event master will judge their stories and pass the scenario card to the one they deem the best fitted.
