Description

Welcome to Tamanawas, an exciting blend of patterns and strategy. Your task? Build the tallest spirit pole and navigate a path through visions, artifacts, and ancient landmarks. All while honoring the rich lore and culture of the Pacific Northwest.

The Cards

Your toolkit for this journey consists of a foldable instruction guide and 52 premium playing cards, divided into four vibrant sets: Tillicum (Red), Tamanawas (Blue), Artifacts (Yellow), and Landmarks (Green).

How to Play

Setup: Shuffle the cards and deal 5 to each player. Place 4 cards at the head of the table to form the Legends Row.

Turns: On your turn, you can add to the communal Path, discard, or pass. The Path is your playground for strategy, where you match color swatches to move cards from your hand to your Vision.

Objectives: Your Vision serves two purposes: gaining Tamanawas (spirit) and satisfying Legends. But be careful, once grouped, cards can't be separated.

Landmarks: These are game-changers. When added to the Path, they reset it and align under a Legend, offering a chance to satisfy it.

Special Actions: Each Tillicum card has a unique action, usable only when grouped with a Tamanawas card in your Vision. These actions range from refilling your hand to swapping cards in the Path. Winning the Game

The game ends when the deck and discard piles are empty or when a Landmark has nowhere to go. To win, you need at least 15 points on your Spirit Pole in cooperative play or 8 or more points in competitive play.

Communication Rules

While you can't disclose your hand or discuss future Path placements, you can talk about your Visions and coordinate Special Actions for the round.
