Taskman

The Brotherhood of Taskmen is an ancient one. When wealthy people had a task they didn’t want to do, a Taskman took up the honor of performing it. And that brotherhood still exists today, which should be pretty obvious because you are in the Taskmen orientation. After today, you will all be beginner Taskmen. It is up to you to gain the necessary skills in order to become a true Taskman.

In Taskman, players compete to become the most skillfull Taskman in various tasks. Starting with one worker, players will perform tasks to gain skills, acquire apprentices, and find out about upcoming tasks.

On your turn, you will play your workers to any tasks that have been revealed thus far. Each task may give you one of the following benefits:
- Gain an apprentice (another worker to be used on future turns).
- Gain a skill crystal (used to improve your skill in a task).
- Perform a special ability (to gain cards which let you control future tasks and are used in scoring).
- Find out about an upcoming task (gain a single card).

At the end of your turn, you must play a task card which will be available for all players to complete. Since other players will be able to use the task you play before you, playing cards strategically is very important.

Once the task cards run out, players calculate their score by multiplying the skill level of a task by the number of corresponding task cards in their hand. The player with the highest sum of all 5 tasks becomes the ultimate Taskman!
