Description
This is the 'scrabble in binary code' invented by a Stanford graduate. It is a word and memory testing game. One person comes up with a word, codes it and then other players have to decode the word from memory having memorized the key used to code. The special binary/quinary code has been used by Southern African traditional doctors to get messages from their ancestors for ages. Learn how to play: The game is currently affordable for U.S customers only. International shipping makes it expensive if outside the U.S. If you know any African publisher who would want to print this game locally making it affordable please have them contact me at dmedupe1@gmail.com. You own Monopoly, you own Scrabble now own a uniquely African game. Support African innovation! People can show off their vocabulary by coding big words. Parents can code interesting words for their children to improve their vocabulary and then tell them what the words mean. You can code words in any language e.g English, Afrikaans, Zulu etc. Language learners can code words for each other in any language they are learning. If your children are losing touch with your mother tongue, code words in your language and then tell them what the word means when they decode it.Couples could code Marry Me to propose during a game. Set fun rules e.g only words five letters or above or only words containing X in them to test vocabulary.
Have coding themes like only code African Rivers so the whole family should research about rivers before game night and share trivia about the rivers. Possible themes: Countries, Car Makers, Ethnic groups of the world, transport modes, Medical terms if doctors playing, food, fruits, vegetables etc.
In the future I could make a version with Chinese characters or Sanskrit instead of the alphabet.
This game contains a premium upgrade called UV Coating that makes the printed components more durable.
This game contains laser cut components. Laser cut items will have a slight amount of soot around the edges, which can easily be wiped off; and will have a campfire smell for about a week after you open them.
