GAME OVERVIEW
Planet Earth draws near to the end of the 26,000 year cycle known as the Piscean Age and is preparing to birth the new Age of Aquarius. The prophets of all nations and religions have foretold of this time wherein a great Event will cause immense changes upon the surface of the Earth and to all of her life-forms.
This Event may come in the form of a cataclysm, or as the Rapture as described in the Holy Bible; through Alien Contact or by humans achieving Peace on Earth. Or perhaps nothing will happen at all.
Many have the feeling that the Earth stands now upon the threshold of such an Event but few can agree on what it will look like or what to do about it. What is the best way to prepare for world changes when you don’t know what you’re preparing for?
Yet Mankind must, as a microcosm of individuals within the macrocosm of continents, race toward purification while there’s still time. They will be challenged at every turn by the dark Adversary who seeks to instill corruption into the world wherever possible.
The Event is expected to occur metaphorically at the stroke of 12 and players have precious little time before it is upon them. In what form shall the End of the Age arrive? Find out in the 11th Hour by drawing an Event card!
THE 11th HOUR is a cooperatively competitive game of resource management that can be played as individuals within a group using the human Chakra centers or macrocosmically as World Leaders collectively managing the Resources of the world’s seven Sectors. The goal is the same in the microcosm as it is in the macrocosm; players seek to perfect their own seven Sectors while balancing the needs of the group. Players won’t know the specific criteria required to survive until the 11th Hour strikes and they draw an Event card.
