Every year, balloonists from all over the country come to Gusty Gulch, New Mexico for a good old-fashioned balloon race. Their challenge is to drop markers to two distant targets, quickly and accurately. Without an engine or any way to steer, winning a balloon race is all about timing, clever maneuvering, and reading the wind. The first player to drop all their team’s markers will end the game, and the highest combined score of targets hit wins the race.
The Balloonatics of Gusty Gulch is a game of hidden information and aerial maneuvering. Reading the wind and bumping other balloons into or out of trouble are the keys to victory. Full and Advanced Game rules add clouds and drafts, for an extra layer of interactivity and chaos.
