Welcome to Metro City, home to a myriad of Heroes, Villains, and Gangs.

You are a member of the Enigmatic People In Costume Squad - or the E.P.I.C. Squad for short. The Squad is the only team of superheroes in Metro City after The Guild of Heroes was disbanded. The Squad operates from a decommissioned lighthouse, dubbed The Beacon, which sits on the edge of the city, a silent sentinel on the sand.

You and your squad mates have many opponents, superpowered and not. After the collapse of The Syndicate, the major organized crime operation, and the disbanding of the two biggest gangs, The Psychos and The Vagrants, there are four smaller gangs still operating in Metro City: the science savvy, high tech using Atomics; the burly Bruisers with a penchant for bashing and mêlée fighting; the fastest, non-speedsters in the city, the Coursers; and the dexterous Dragons, the best firearms users outside of the military.

In addition to the gangs, there are and Super Villains, both with and without powers, that plague the city, and as superheroes, you will be fighting (and hopefully catching) them.

There is no time to waste; now is your finest hour - go forth and stop some crime.
