Description
The Empathy Project: a skills development game is comprised of a deck of cards with patient/family member statements that contain both intellectual and emotional content. With the help of an empathy guru, players are challenged to experiment with empathy statements based on the principles described by VitalTalk (VITALtalk.org). Our hope/goal is to improve patient care by supporting learners in achieving empathetic competence and inspiring lifelong empathy practice.
We are in the midst of creating a Facilitator Guide that provides instructive responses to demonstrate optimal empathetic competence, which will be available soon!
