Welcome to the island of treacherous treasure

You and your rivals have arrived on an island which was abandoned long ago by an ancient civilisation. Now you must race to plunder their treasures, but watch out! Maybe the treasures and the death of the ancient civilisation are connected in some way...

Gather a party of brave adventurers, investigate the ancient warnings scattered around the coast, and head into the jungle to find the treasures before your rivals. Every game has a randomised board so you never know what's lurking in the undergrowth.

What you can expect

The Island of Treacherous Treasure rewards players who can mix caution and daring. Decide how long to build your strength as you explore the coast and gain vital information on the treacherous treasures, timing your expeditions into the island's heart to grab the treasure from under your rivals' noses.

As you explore the island you'll reveal traps and monsters and the treasures they guard.

Build and upgrade your party from the game's 13 unique adventurer cards, mixing their skills and strengths to give yourself an edge in your dangerous quest.

You can upgrade your knights to cavalry or give them heavy armour to help you defeat the guardians of the treasure.

Or maybe you will upgrade your scout to a cartographer - giving them a new skill and ability to collect more varied treasure.

Explore the island and overcome the dangers to gain gold and treasure.

How to win

It takes about 20 minutes to explore the island, then whoever has the most treasure is the winner, unless...

...if you were too bold, too foolish, too quick to ignore the desperate warnings of the ancients, you will be destroyed by the very treasure you greedily plundered. If you have a treasure card which matches one of the treacherous treasure cards, you lose!
