You and your party have just defeated the generic fantasy villain down in his or her dungeon full of traps and worthless treasure. As you all stand around, looking at each other and the lackluster loot you will need to divide and share, you all have the same idea:
"Why should I share with any of them?"
Now it's a race for the exit as you control one of the party members. Everyone has a different goal (or do they?), and it wouldn't hurt to pick up some treasure on the way out. Unfortunately, most of this loot looks like junk, but beggars can't be choosers.
The dungeon has up to 48 rooms and even the same layout will (almost) never have the same order of rooms twice, so your adventure will always be fresh. Choose from 10 characters and over 30 abilities to ensure that no two routes are ever quite the same.
Use your skills to escape and avoid your former party members, or take the fight to them with exciting dice rollin' action!
Team up! Betray each other! Argue about the minutiae!
Based roughly on traditional table top RPG fantasy archetypes, the heroes of The Party Has Fallen cover 10 classes:
The Paladin
The Fighter
The Barbarian
The Wizard
The Bard
The Rogue
The Warlock
The Ranger
The Druid
The Cleric
All have unique stat spreads influenced by common TTRPGs, tweaked for balance.
Over 30 different items to collect, some with powerful bonuses and others... not so much, including
The Ring of Invisibility
The Talking Skull
The Laceless Boots
A Cool Stick
A Sausage
...and many more!
Each hero also gets at least one ability, changing their tactics and offering fresh gameplay. There are over 30 abilities, some which provide stat boots, others with changes to the way you interact with the board, and others still that completely change the mechanics of the game! Abilities complement Goals, which are you individual path to victory.
Complete your objective within the dungeon and then make it to the exit as quickly as you can!
