Prince Percy wants to propose to Penelope. But the royal parents insist she pass a “P-test” prior to his proposal. They’ve perched the potential princess atop a pile of poofy mattresses, and planted a plethora of paraphernalia beneath the padding. “A perfect princess…” they pontificate, “will perceive each puny protuberance.”
How can Penelope possibly prevail?
Luckily, the palace peons have stepped in to help.
In The Princess and The P's, all but one of the players (the Palace Peons) prompt the remaining player (the Princess) to guess a collection of secret objects whose names contain the letter P. Successful prompts will earn you Pearls. But in the palace, peons are prohibited from using ANY words that contain the letter P. And if you are caught, you'll be piling up Pebbles instead. Cooperate to help the potential princess prevail as you compete against other Peons for the title of MVP (Most Valuable Peon).

EMILY WILLIX (Designer) is a game designer who loves creating fun, thinky games in small packages. She signed her first game, Battle Dentale, with Bright Eye Games in the UK in 2021. Her games have been finalists in the Game Crafter’s 2021 BGDL Solo Duo Challenge and the 2021 Gateway to Games Contest, as well as the 2021 and 2022 Cardboard Edison Award, and the 2021 Ion Award. Emily is always on the lookout for ways to make games more earth-friendly, and operates her company, Small Furry Games, from a solar- and wind-powered sailboat currently located in the Dominican Republic. When she’s not designing games, Emily is probably proofreading another game designer’s rulebook. Or playing a game. Or thinking about games. But when she’s not doing anything game-related, she spends her time making YouTube videos, maintaining an old boat, and playing music with friends. Learn more about her current projects at www.SmallFurryGames.com.
KAREN ESCHER (Illustrator) is 10 years old. Her keen eye for detail results in pictures that are often surprising and funny. She likes to play with color. Her perspective and imagination convey emotion, story, and often comic satire. Through art, Karen enjoys tackling big questions such as accepted norms in science and culture. Karen loved drawing illustrations for The Princess and the P's and watching the characters come to life. (Fun fact: The pug that appears in this game is inspired by a real-life pug named Marley who lives in Vancouver, Canada.) Karen is from Canada and has lived on a sailboat for most of her life. She enjoys swimming, diving, and playing in mangroves with her friends. As she sails with her family around the world, she sees life through the eyes of many cultures. You can see some of her work on her Fine Art America page.
