Welcome to The Rio Grande! Rich in culture, and agriculture as well! Build your farms, hire workers and build adobe to create your home.
In The Rio Grande, players will be competing to create the most prosperous farm. One player will choose an action each round which all players will take. Timing is key as you will benefit from the actions chosen by others, but do your best to gain the best benefits. After 5 rounds, the game is over and the players with the most points will win.
This game is an engine building game with inspirations from Wingspan, Puerto Rico, and many others. As play progresses, players will be building farm card which provide actions each time they activate thair chosen lot. They will also hire workers which provide benefits each time the lot is activated. Adobe will be worth many points, but that value decreases each time one is built.
Clever play and critical timing is key to the success!
