Get all your bunnies off the board before the Tigers catch them! You can play cooperatively or competitively. I made this game to play with my oldest kids, ages 4 1/2 and 3 1/2.
For back story, we got them Candyland for Christmas. I can handle that sometimes, but it is a bit mind numbing after a while. I explored some other options, like Max, a kids board game, but wanted just a little bit more decisions for the players. Not much, mind you, but a little.
So Tiger Chase! was born. It is loosely based off of the Tiger and the Rabbit/Hare stories in one of our kids books. It's not for kids by themselves, part of the game requires at least an older sibling or parent to govern the tigers, but my kids enjoy being told which ones to move even if they don't understand why. The rules allow for competitive, simultaneous playing or cooperative everybody together playing.
So do you need this game? Better question: How much do you love your kids? Don't you want them to love board games like you? =)
This game contains laser cut components. Laser cut items will have a slight amount of soot around the edges, which can easily be wiped off; and will have a campfire smell for about a week after you open them.
