Description
Toppling Totems is a two- to six-player trick taking game in which players are trying to build towers to four angry gods. The problem: the towers tend to topple over.
The four gods each demand towers be built in their name from their favorite material: wood, stone, metal and ice.
Over the course of three generations (hands in the game), your builders get better. Each generation, you'll earn a few points. And at the end of the third generation, players are judged by their shortest tower. The winner is the one whose shortest tower is the tallest.
⚙️ Trick Taking ⚙️ Toppling Totems isn't an ordinary trick taker. Win too frequently and your towers will grow too fast and topple over. And other players can sabotage your towers by playing cards that will topple them over.
The end game scoring also favors small, strategic victories since only your shortest tower counts.
