Description
Feel the adrenaline as you brave Tornado Alley, seeking to gather the best possible research and footage over the course of three storms.
In Tornado Chasers, compete to predict the location of the next tornado, film it, and place probes to gain information on the vortex. All the while, you must navigate roads, wisely plan upgrades, and avoid becoming the next disaster victim.
Setup: Take your player supplies. take turns placing land tiles. Place the upgrade tokens near their depots. Set up the score track. Shuffle the forecast cards, and deal one face-up to each player.
Players' turns consist of three phases: the Tornado phase, the Chaser phase, and the Scoring phase.
Tornado phase: Place a forecast card and move the tornado token to the corresponding location.
Chaser phase: Use two actions to move your vehicle, upgrade your vehicle, or place equipment.
Scoring phase: All players earn points based on their tokens’ positions in relation to the position of each tornado.
End of a storm: Players take turns until one player does not have a space to place a forecast card. When this happens, the tornado strikes. Each player takes one action then scores points for the end of the storm.
Each of the three storms increases in intensity and works a little bit differently.
End game: When the third tornado strikes and is scored, the game ends. The player with the most points wins!
