What is it?

A beautiful deck of 90 cards with which you can play a wide variety of games. Comes with rules for two games with more available to download for free. A fresh and triangular take on traditional playing cards.

All about triangles

Each card represents a piece of a triangle numbered 1-3, and is "cut" in one of three ways:

• Horizontal cut
• Vertical cut
• Centered cut

Three pieces of the same cut numbered 1, 2 and 3 make up a whole triangle. There are three colors and no less than nine complete triangles, which serve as jokers in some games.

Unlimited games

With a deck of Triangles playing cards you can play any number of games. The box comes with printed rules for two games: a base game included in all Triangles decks (yes, there's a whole series of them, all available here on The Game Crafter) and a bonus game only included in this Beetles edition.

Game #1: Triangle Mayhem

Complete triangles by placing cards at the center of the table. Three pieces numbered 1-3 of the same cut make up a complete triangle. The center of the table is free-for-all and any player may be the one to finish a triangle by placing the last missing piece, thus scoring points. A fast game suitable for 2+ players.

Game #2: 21/15/9-Card Triangles

Only included in this Beetles edition of Triangles, this game is all about completing triangles in your hand and playing them to get rid of cards as quickly as possible. Based on the color combination of the triangles you complete you may "save" a number of cards to reuse them. A fast game suitable for 2-6 players.

Triangles come in many shapes

There's a whole series of Triangles decks, each with its own unique visual design. Each deck comes with printed rules for two games — a base game found in all decks, and a bonus game found only in that specific deck. Rules to more games can be downloaded for free online.
