Everything you want in a game! Excitement, Action, Easy to Learn, Fun, Challenging, and Finally, you're Always in the Game!
To take Tricks (7's), Steal Tricks with Dirty Tricks (11's) and play the "Elec-Trick" card to block opponents Dirty Trick steals. Special Action cards amp up the action on your quest to take the most Tricks!
Players start each round with 5 cards in their hand and a Free Trick in front of them. The remaining cards are the draw pile with the discard pile next to it. There are 104 cards that range in number from (negative) -3 through 12 and include three Special Action cards and one Dual Value card.
On your turn, play a card on the discard pile and add the value of your card to the cumulative count of the pile. When the count reaches 7, it is your Trick to take. When it reaches 11, it is your Dirty Trick to take. The "Fireworks" begin with the Dirty Trick. A Dirty Trick allows a player to steal another player's Trick! The question is...who to steal from? Players draw one replacement card after their turn is over. The player with the most Tricks at the end of 3 rounds wins the game. For a two player game, follow sudden death playoff rules.
These three Special Action Cards amp up the action and intensify the competition. Power Play- This card gives a player an extra card to use to take Tricks or Dirty Tricks. Elec-Trick- This card is the most electrifying card in the game! Shock (block) another player when they try to steal a Trick from you. This card is played out of turn. So, flash it, flip it or fling it with style when another player tries to steal your Trick. Make a buzzer sound when you play the card to give your opponent a little extra shock! Trickster- This card is the wild card. Use it as any numbered card except 7 or 11.
The -3/+1 Dual Value Card is a very valuable card. Your opportunities to take Tricks and Dirty Tricks explode when you have this card in your hand! It pairs well with discard pile counts of 6, 10 and 14.
Normally players play one card and draw one replacement card. However, players may play as many cards as they want in order to take a Trick or Dirty Trick. There's a catch! Players can draw only one replacement card. Players have to decide if the Risk of playing "Short Handed" is worth the Reward of taking a Trick or Dirty Trick. This is a powerful option for players late in a round and leading up to the Grand Finale finish!
Boom! The signs of the Grand Finale! Near the end of the round/game the draw pile gets smaller and smaller. Players chances of improving their hands get smaller and smaller too. Players are keeping an eye on the cumulative score to know who is in the lead and how many Tricks they need to take or steal to win the round/game. The Grand Finale is a tense and exciting time in the game. Some players have saved the extra card/s from the Power Play card/s they played and have more than 5 cards in their hand. Other players have played multiple cards to take Tricks and Dirty Tricks earlier in the round/game and have fewer than 5 cards in their hand. Once the draw pile is gone, players are playing the remaining cards in their hand. You'll see Trickster cards played! You'll see Elec-Trick cards played! Finally, you'll see multiple cards being played as a last ditch effort to win the game! The Grand Finale comes to an Explosive Conclusion.
