Unexcused Absences

The bluffing game about ditching work.

Play both as the boss and employee using your excuses and backing them up with documentation. Try not to get caught lying about your sick cat or your car not starting, because if you get caught ditching work too many times you could lose your job!

As a boss, you need to make sure you don't accuse the wrong employee, or it could be your neck on the line as well!

Here is a brief rundown...

At the start each player is dealt a Paid Time Off (PTO) card, a Meeting card, 3 Excuses cards and 3 Documentation cards.

During each round one player is The Boss and the other players are the Employees. Every employee plays one Excuses card and a Documentation card.

The Boss must pick one employee they think does NOT have the correct matching Documentation to validate the Excuses card.

Pick correctly and the employee receives a Corrective Action.

Guess wrong and now The Boss is now in trouble for accusing their co-workers of lying and The Boss gets a Corrective Action.

Both The Boss and the Employees have one time use lifelines. Employees can take the day off by using PTO or a Boss quickly calls a Meeting to avoid making a bad decision.

Get 3 Corrective Actions and you are FIRED!
