Description
Unknown Lands is a Board Game created by
Dan Leighly at FireBall Monster Games.
The Unknown Lands is a place where worlds have collided. To the outside world it is a vast and uncharted territory. To those who occupy the world, it is a hunting-ground for untold riches. The Dragons have always ruled the land, but there are others who are seeking the treasures of wealth and fortune.
Game Objective:
You are a Dragon explorer seeking land and fortune. Every section of land is up for grabs, and you will be competing for the vast riches and fortunes of those fortunate to acquire the most land, and build the most Castles.
The game map is divided into landmass areas including Mountains, open Land, and Oceans.
A grid forms the equal and divided areas where you will try to obtain as much land as you can.
Each section of land is worth various points. 1, 2, or 3 points each. The idea is to amass blocks of land, four squares, which equals a fortress. A fortress is worth 5 points. 1 point for each square of land, and your Castles.
Each player continues to take turns moving, claiming land, and collecting points until one of three things happen.
1. There are no more moves to be made.
2. A player has no more character tokens.
3. A player loses all their Dragons.
Once play is unable to continue, the player’s count up their land and castles, and the player with the highest number of points wins the game.
