VALUE BY DESIGN introduces value streams in a cooperative game-based learning. It is anticipated that during the game, there will be plenty of discussion about the value contributors and the insights needed to activate them.
The game is not intended as a step by step guide on a specific value stream, rather as an example of how value stream thinking can be practically applied. It effectively illustrates a holistic approach that puts the value stream, its contributors, and required insights, at the core of understanding and steering what it takes to meet, and exceed, your customers’ expectations.
Deliver service - value stream
The base game comes with a value stream that identifies 5 value phases of delivering an IT service. It includes many of the key value contributors that build into a reliable service and a satisfied customer.

- This game contains a premium upgrade called UV Coating that makes the printed components more durable.
- This game contains laser cut components. Laser cut items will have a slight amount of soot around the edges, which can easily be wiped off; and will have a campfire smell for about a week after you open them.
