Welcome to Vanaheim

A game of exploration, survival and open ended adventures. You will explore caves and dungeons to find treasure and defeat evil using different weapons, abilities and spells. Should you survive, return to the safety of the town to recover from wounds, find new quests and expand the settlement.

Objective

The game is designed to be played more than once with the same character, reflecting their trials and successes as they grow in fame and strength, similar to a role-playing game.

The Jarl-Protector of the realm has died, and neighbouring Jarls are pushing at the borders. Can you prove your mettle and make a name for yourself? Once you are strong enough, demonstrate your power snd battle the Fire Drake to gain the ultimate treasure, the Dragon Skull Trophy, to adorn the wall of your Hall!

Gameplay

This is a map-building dungeon crawl with character advancement, inventory management as well as town development.

Everything you need to play countless different adventures, go on amazing quests and battle dozens of different monsters.

A fast and simple combat system, with skills and spells that allow you to fully customise your character result in a fast, fun and intuitive game brimming with a "just one more game" addictive quality.

Pick up and play any time and add to your story in the world of Vanaheim!

The game works in a similar style to both table-top RPGs and dungeon-crawl computer games. The map deck creates a dungeon to explore. You use dice alongside equipment and skill cards to battle the various monsters within, while looting or finding equipment and treasure along the way. Quick to play, Vanaheim is set up in moments.

Once you leave the dungeon, there is a town to visit, spend your well-deserved rewards in, heal up and find new quests to attempt.

Without the need for a games master, you can play solo or with friends!
