Vortex

Vortex is a single-card game of bluffing and misdirection.

Simply spin the vortex card and you're ready to play.

One player peeks under the edge of the card facing them. Then they may rotate the card one position (in either direction) or leave as is. The other player may also rotate the card, then flips the card any way they wish.

Each player scores the points facing them. Swap roles and play again. First to 7 or 8 points wins. If you reach 9+ points you lose. If tied on 7, play one more round.

For 3+ player games: Play the game as described above, except that after each round the player who won plays again, and the next player sitting out plays against them. If a player reaches 9+ points they are eliminated. If no one wins the game the last player standing wins.
