Matsu of The Broken Wall has come down from the mountains in search of the Sacred Pools. He knows that those healing waters will be allow him to be unstoppable in his campaign to conquer the surrounding territory. However, Elisha, Princess of Rivers stands watch over the pools with her Guardians as her tribe has done for generations. She will stand against Matsu and his Tribal Warriors.
Which side will you aid?
In Warring tribes each player takes control of either Matsu and his Tribal Warriors or Elisha, Princess of Rivers and her Guardians of the Sacred Pools. Each turn you have the opportunity to add to your forces through buying Warriors, Shamans and spells from a central deck. However, buying new cards limits your ability to attack your opponent that turn because you can either use one of your Units for their gold value in buying cards or for attacking your opponent during the attack phase, they can not do both! After being used for purchasing cards or attacking your opponent, they move to your Reserve row, becoming unusable for a turn while cards in your Reserve row move to the Active row becoming available to buy new cards or to attack the opponent
