In this game, you play as a detective-for-hire. You and your fellow PIs are invited to solve a mystery, and the only one who can best unravel the case will get all of the rewards. You must try to gather the best set of clues in order to gain the top reward. To do so, you must conduct some “seedy” actions against your fellow competitors to gain the upper hand. Do you have what it takes, detective?
“Well Played, Detective” is not a deduction or a hidden-role game, but a simple set collection game. Akin to a game of lite Poker, players tries to collect the best hand for final scoring. The twist here is that each round, 2 different actions become available, that lets players to swap, take, keep, and peek at the cards in their hand and those of other players. This makes it challenging and entertaining as you try to get that perfect hand of clues. The game is quick and easy (each game shouldn’t last for more than 7.5 minutes), mix with lots of social interaction moments, making it a great choice as a pre-game warm-up game!
