Whale: The Cardgame is based on the hand-drawn comic strip Whale, which appeared regularly in printed form in The Daily Texan from 2002 to 2008. Central stands Whale, a smoking jazz musician and cancelled television star. Surrounding him is a variety of eccentrics such as the shameless politician Iftheodorerooseveltwerearabbit and the pitiful Montanaface- a man who has the unfortunate condition of his face looking exactly like the state of Montana. Now, this crazy cast of characters appear in printed form once more. The game stays true to the newspaper, minimalistic, black and white feel of the original comics.
