Wheel of the Year Altar Board

Wheel of the Year altar board was designed for witches and magickal practioners to easily honor the changing year with simple ritual. All you need is the board and a token of your choosing to move around the board. Make the ritual a little more elegant with a tealight, some corresponding crystals or some natural inclusions such as shells, acorns, etc. Choose what feels right as your token.

On one side of this altar board you will find the wheel with eight sabbats and approximate dates. You will also find the 28 days of the lunar cycle spread around the wheel. On the other side of the altar board you will find the wheel with twelve zodiac signs.

To work with this board, choose a wheel and lay the board in a place of your choosing. This could be your altar, sacred space, desk, or anywhere that feels right to you. You can even bring it along if you would like to use it elsewhere, perhaps in nature or with friends. Place your token(s) on the appropriate section of the board and move them along the changing year as we go. Welcome each new sabbat, moon phase, or Zodiac sign. Spend some time with the energy of each, or if you are new to this work, read up on what each sabbat, zodiac or moon phase represent. Look for ways to relate with each, and it will strengthen your connection to your internal rhythm and cycle as well.

For the more advanced witch, this board is easy to include in your more elaborate magickal practices, and can also be used for divination work with cards, dice or a pendulum.
