Description

Objective

Players may construct a word by using 2 letter cards in their hand + any or all of the 5 community cards dealt face up in 3 stages. Texas Hold'em rules apply here. The winner of a round is determined by their constructed word score. All players have betting options to check, call, raise or fold. The player who makes the highest scoring word at the end of the round wins the pot. Bet on your predicted words strategically.

Gameplay

Texas hold'em dealing rules apply. Each player is dealt 2 cards face down (known as the hole cards). Then five community cards are dealt face up in three stages.

The stages consist of a series of three cards ("the flop"), later an additional single card ("the turn" or "fourth street"), and a final card ("the river" or "fifth street").

All Players have betting options to check, call, raise, or fold. Rounds of betting take place before the flop is dealt and after each subsequent deal. All players have betting options to check, call, raise or fold. The player who makes the highest scoring word at the end of the round wins the pot.

If none of the players were able to construct a word OR players have constructed words of an equal score, then a "split-pot" will occur.

Single, Double & Triple word scores

A.) Different colors sequence = Single word score - A word score constructed with a sequence of cards of different colors. This score will be calculated by summing all the letter points of that word.

B.) Partial same color sequence = Double word score - A word score constructed with a sequence of cards of same color (including dual color cards and multicolor cards).

C.) Full same color sequence = Triple word score - A word score constructed with a sequence of cards of the same color ONLY (NOT including dual color cards. NOT including multicolor cards).

Round Winner

The player who has the best hand (the highest scoring word) and has not folded by the end of all betting rounds wins all of the money bet for the hand, known as the pot.

End of the game

Players can mutually decide to the end the game after a few or several rounds of gameplay. Similar to a poker game.
