Description
- Play the sport of football (soccer) in a board game designed for fans to enjoy the action of the game.
- Game players create a team list for their teams at the start of the game using a list of skill levels for their individual figures.
- Team names and individual player names can be created and used to keep statistics as leagues and competitions are developed between game players.
- The game player whose team takes the game’s opening kick-off, plays as the offence team and plays movement stages and action stages which consist of passes, dribbling with the football and shots on the opponent’s goal to score points.
- The other team can gain position of the football and become the offence team with this alternating throughout the game.
- When the offence team has a player in a position to shoot the football towards the opposition’s goal to score points, then dice are rolled to determine the outcome of the shot on goal.
- Tackles, interceptions, blocked shots, goal-keeper saves, rebounds, turnovers, fouls, free-kicks, throw-ins, corner kicks, goal kicks and bookings are also actioned throughout the game, bringing all the elements from the sport of football (soccer) to the table top with World Football with Dice.
