In WTF players use their wits to create clever phrases that match a theme, but there's a catch! Each phrase must fit a random acronym.
For example, the players whose turn it is will turn over 3 cards. In this example we will use these cards:
Then that player chooses a theme from the bottom of one of the revealed cards. In this example, the player chose "Title of a Song". Once a theme is selected, all players write down a phrase that follows the rules and matches the theme (loosely).
Each word must start with the letter on the card in the order they appear. However, there are Free Words that can be used anywhere at anytime.
Free Word examples: 1 and 2 letter words (A, IN, OR) and "AND, WITH, THE, THEE"
Let your mind go wild:
"Roudy and Drunk in Germany"
"Radio Destruction with Gernades"
"Rachel's Dances with Greg"
Once everyone is ready, you go around the table, one person at a time, and not only reveal what you came up with but also embellishing a supporting story that will help you win the round. Again, more creativity! After everyone has told their story and revealed their cards and everyone is ready, the player who flipped the cards counts down from: 3, 2, 1, Go.
When the player says Go, all players points to the player they thought had the best response. Again, this can be funniest, accurate, or simply one you liked.
The person with the most votes wins the round and takes the selected theme card, turns it over, and now has a point. If there is a tie, who ever picked the theme has the final say on who wins. (Can't pick themselves)
To make it harder, you can add a timer to up the pressure!
The game ends however you want it to: first to 5 points, get to the bottom of the deck, drinks are empty, etc.
